Lewandowski and Hamrouni lead all scorers in Moscow
08/06/2014
Przemysław Lewandowski was a catalyst for Poland's quarter-final run at the 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships in Moscow on 5-8 June 2014.

Poland's Przemysław Lewandowski and Tunisia's Houda Hamrouni topped all scorers at the 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships in the men's and women's events respectively.

The 2.01m Lewandowski (9.1 ppg (points per game)) was the catalyst of Poland's nice run from first place in Pool A to a narrow loss against the Russian hosts in the quarter-finals. After losing two games by just one point, Tunisia could not make it to the knock-out phase but its star player, the 20-year-old Hamrouni made quite an impression averaging 7.6 ppg in the pools.
